I have read reports of people finally meeting their hero in person and being disappointed.
There is a saying that says "Never meet your hero".
I think there can be truth to that. There could be a situation that you finally meet your hero and he accidenly burps or makes an awkward body noise and maybe he's a little rude and only says one word to you.
This can be heart breaking to some people and as a result, your hero declines in your eyes.
