Buy.com is Rakuten.com, completely legit. Just got Bioshock Infinite from them yesterday that I ordered last week.

Okay, thanks :D

Here's the deal: brand new Sony mdr-1r for 137.99 - no tax/free shipping at rakuten.com. Item is shipped and sold by Buy.com

Can't post a link right now because my phone is being a pain but definitely check it out. Just ordered a pair myself.

rakuten is buy.com.... rakuten bought out buy.com

I would be careful with Rakuten. They sell products offered by many merchants from around the world. Unlike Amazon, I'm not sure if they monitor their 3rd party sellers to any degree.

Buy.com joined the Rakuten family in 2010, making the joint businesses combined into one of the world's largest online retail marketplaces. We offer consumers more than 90 million products from 38,500 merchants around the globe. Buy.com becoming Rakuten.com Shopping is the next step of that relationship as the Rakuten Group increasingly unifies its brand internationally. This transition will open up the Rakuten.com Shopping (formerly Buy.com) marketplace to customers globally, as well as introducing merchants and retailers from around the world to its North American customer base. Both its merchants and its consumers will benefit from this open, global market. We are excited at the possibilities to come, and we hope you continue to join us in our global growth.

Yep this morning I was going to buy them for 183.99 on rakuten and when I added them to the cart and clicked checkout the price changed to 137.99 :) IDK how many they had in stock but it's sold out now after about 2 hours :O

Back up to 2 hundy.  Glad I snagged them, it said 2 left in stock when I got mine.  Thanks a ton!  This was one of the portable cans I really wanted to audition, and I'll be able to sell them for more than that if I decide to go a different route.  Now if I can find a deal on the WS99 and M100...

No problem, and I'll keep an eye for those and let you guys know if anything good pops up. I'd like a pair of basshead cans myself.

im not worried... they have big marketplace sellers like antonline, BH photo.... which are also marketplace sellers on amazon.  I never had a problem with buy.com.  I ordered 2 jvc ha-s400's came fast and quick... 2-3 days...free shipping.  Also bought my first full size can jvc ha-rx700 from buy.com You get to choose the marketplace seller to buy from just like amazon.
