I'm not sure how well this sound card drives headphones, but should be a good value for the features.

i personally have no complaints other than the fact they use fedex to canada. i ordered the 650s on sunday and they were here on tuesday thats the fastest cross boarder shipping ive had. I'm pretty happy with them,  but i didn't do much research into them i just found the cheapest price

If you don't mind my asking, what about it makes it capable of driving 600 ohm headphones? I just ask because I went through the page for that receiver on Yamaha's site and didn't see any mention of headphones aside from the mention of the headphone jack on the spec sheet. Fill me in?

Because I have the RX-V671 and my AKG K240 Monitor 600-Ohm headphones work with it just fine.
