Just bought 2 of these! The coupon saved $60 and I got free shipping, so it was only $20! :)

Amazon has been sending out one-time use coupon codes for 10% off orders, so be on the lookout for emails from them.

IMO, D600s sound better than the D2000s and even the D5000s (but not the D7000). I've owned them all.

Not here, but there's a thread on the D600 on this site I believe.

No comment on the looks, but do try to give it a listen before judgment. I personally like the sound signature, although my experience with the Denon line is limited to the D7ks.

I wouldn't say it's worth the 500 MSRP, but the price has been dramatically reduced since.

+1, really?  I'm not arguing against the point at all.  Just surprised to see it since many a Head-Fier feels differently.  Listening to a pair of D7100 at the moment, but have never heard the D600.

The one point I felt they did come through on from the previous generation is the overall comfort. I really enjoyed the thick pads on the cups and headband. But sound wise, they aren't worth the price range. I heard the D600 and the D7100 and was not impressed with either one. I would pick up the D600 if I saw it in the $150 price range. At the $400-$500 mark, you've got a lot of headphones to compete with, and a lot of others to surpass.

Thats a shocker! Everything I've seen and read has said the opposite. That the new line is a huge step back and way over priced. I own the D5000's and am in search of the D2000's and I find it hard to believe that they would sound better than the 5000's. Anything is possible I guess so what is it about them that you think is better?? Also have you ever recabled them? I've been told that the stock cables on the old line are awful and hold the headphones back quite a bit. Just a thought, but I curious what it is about the new line that you like.

Also Amazon has a used pair for $388 right now so thats still up there but at least its not the normal $499. I've bought plenty of used headphones from eBay and when they say like new they mean it! I've gotten stupid deals on some expensive cans that way. The best was probably my T70 that I got like new for $279. Ended up selling them for $379 so that was a win win. Got to hear the Telsa speakers and made money off of them. Twas a good day

I have to say, from hearing all of the above, the D600 really has a good sound. They got no loving here when they first came out but people were comparing them to the D7000 and had high expectation.
The D600's do sound better than the D2000's and compare favorably with any full size closed headphone in the $400- 500 price range. I use mine at work and find that they have great isolation, excellent sound, and are perfect for my needs.
