Curiosity finally got the better of me. I purchased both the DS400 and DS601, because… because I’ve been a good boy and haven’t purchased anything in… months! That, and at a combined $239 at https://1mii.shop with code Lavasound I just couldn’t pass them up…
Congrats on having the new toys! How do you like them so far? Would definitely want to hear your thoughts

Is this an msrp adjustment?
It show as a special price right now, but they reduced the price on the Sundara couple weeks ago... Who knows, they should do the same with the Susvara.

When I received the DS400 I was astonished at how tiny it is. It is actually ideal for my nightstand, so the size is ideal. So far I have only used it with IEMs and then only out of the SE port. Not a lot of power on offer, but since I will only be using it with IEMs the power on offer is fine.

The DS601 is a great little DAC. I am using it with a Geshelli Archel 2.5 Amp, with Bluetooth LDAC from my phone. The display is nice, but therein is the only issue I have - I cannot stack anything on it. But that is fine for my use.

Bottom line, both are quite good for my use cases!

The Music Room is running a sale of 11% off on top of their normal used/open-box prices for gear listed under "specials", making several of their offers very competitively priced. They sell all manner of audio gear, so it's worth looking through their specials page to see what's there. They generally sell certified pre-owned gear and honor both return policy and warranty, so it is a safe and reputable vendor from which to buy.

What I find most compelling are open-box Meze Empyrean for around $1900 and open-box Audeze LCD-X for around $820. Shipping is not free and varies by product and location.

EDIT: According to the banner, "free ground shipping storewide," which does sweeten these deals and should apply to their other gear as well.
