On a somewhat related note, did anyone take a screenshot of the ZMF b-stock sale before they sold out? (I'm assuming they did since it's too depressing to even go to their site, what with being broke and all...)
Looking for a deal on the Rega Planar 3 with or without the Elys 2 cartridge? OK with full warranty B stock? If so check out Canadian based Audio Connexion--and yes I am a repeat customer.
Get the 3 in red or white with cartridge for $687. Without cartridge it is black and $567. I can't see the prices in Canadian dollars.

Yeah this is what I decided to jump on for my "big" purchase (hey I'm a factory worker). Had actually just decided to get the HE400i 2020 for the latest build improvements but 50 bones is 50 bones (see comment in above parentheses ).
Now, I hope this qualifies as DISCUSSION...with my 2 current sources being LG V40 and Asus Xonar soundcard do you all think I NEED to use a discreet amp? Ok I do know what the word NEED can do to spark controversy - I mean to get them performing near their potential. In which case I'd likely grab an L30. Which would of course push me to add an E30. *sigh* you all know how that dealio works lol

They'll run okay from a V40 alone using the cable trick to get it into aux mode (plug the cable only into the phone, then plug the cable into the headphones), but maybe not as close to their full potential as you'd like. Don't have any experience with the Asus Xonar.

Thank you mate. Guess I should do more Xonar research, but honestly I think I realize a dedicated amp is the way to go. I'm not THAT poor that I can't just grab the Topping. Maybe hold off on the dac for a bit.
I really don't want to hijack the thread so I appreciate the input very much!
Edit: just saw your reply Raketen, thank you also very kindly!
You can also get them direct from Linsoul with quicker shipping using code LINSOULBFCM10 for $269.10.
Massdrop also charges taxes as LInsoul doe not, for me at least, so the price maybe close between the two.
Per Linsoul:
Get 10% off for many products* by applying this discount code: LINSOULBFCM10
Other products with up to 50% off will have their discounted prices displayed.
Edit - I found that I had a bonus coupon from a previous buy at drop for $20 so I would have done better at drop after all. But the speed from Linsoul compared to Drop makes all the difference. So, if buying these, and you don't care about delivery time, you may be better off with Drop.
AIAIAI Black Friday Sale, at https://aiaiai.audio/: 30% off all products, free shipping (at least for orders over $100), no US Tax. Examples: TMA-2 "All Round" Variant Configuration with S04 speaker unit and no-microphone C05 cable: $101.5 instead of $145; same with C01 microphone cable $105 instead of 150.
I just received a FedEx tracking number for my Denon 5200's. I honestly didn't know if that was going to happen, lol. I hope everyone else that ordered has the same luck.
