I'm here at the office with my E5.
A lot of background noise when connected through bluetooth.
Battery life is also poor and if you connect on your smartphone (android) it works like a charger, what makes it even worse.
This one I can't recommend.
Better to wait for an ifi Nano deal.

I also have the E5 and don’t experience background noise with Bluetooth so that unit might be defective. Just an FYI for people who might be interested in the deal.

Yeah the Ananda deal is by far the best deal. At that price it pretty much smokes everything......and no, I don't own one or actually need one.

True, true. I am waiting for the Bluetooth version to come down in price like this and I am there.

Just wait six months and they'll be down to less than $250. Hifiman has a track record for this and I refuse to pay anything near retail for their headphones.

Seeing that this is $550, and retail used to be $999, and now mostly $850, you are getting them for a lot less. Also about the time they do hit anywhere near $250 there are guaranteed to be better headphones at the time from either Hifiman or some other brand.
