The Deals DISCUSSION Thread (READ THE FIRST POST!!!)

You're just not having any luck with headphone purchases lately, huh? First with the used Kanas Pro from BLINQ being a dud and now with the HD600 order snub from Amazon? Here's to better days.

Am thinking that the deal on the HD600s was from the 'Sennheiser Outlet' (refurbed)...yes?
Similar to this deal - https://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-Professional-Headphone-Certified-Refurbished/dp/B079VH2732

FWIW, I tried the HD660 a month or two ago and that got delivered but there was definitely something wrong with it...very muffled signature. It came in a BLINQ box, if I recall correctly. BLINQ seems to be hit and miss but has an easy return policy based on my limited experience and what I've read elsewhere.

Still worth a shot (imo) if you find a headphone you really like at a great price...

I spent some time looking through the mess as well.
I think the price for the B&O H9 is solid at $150

For those who don't mind refurbished, here is a link to the headphones under the Amazon Renewed program. Like the earlier HD600 & HD650 refurbs I posted from Amazon, it appears that these headphones that fall under the Amazon Renewed banner come with a 90-day warranty. Granted some of the prices listed here aren't that great. Sometimes even insulting, when you can get brand new for the same or less. YMMV. At the moment there are 13 pages of headphones. I imagine this list will be updated regularly, so it might be worth bookmarking for future reference.

FYI, one of the ways to confirm if the refurbished headphone is covered by a 90-day warranty, you should see a description that reads the following:

Product works and looks like new. Backed by the 90-day Amazon Renewed Guarantee.

Renewed products work and look like new. These pre-owned products have been inspected and tested by Amazon-qualified suppliers. Box and accessories may be generic. All Renewed products come with the 90-day Amazon Renewed Guarantee.

Oh nice! I checked My UPS and it shows a delivery for Friday, and that it's in transit. So... that's good news for me.
Got my HD600. They are in excellent shape with no sign of wear. They sound good too. Listening to these is a sobering event. When you realize that many of the headphones discussed on this forum are hundreds if not thousands of dollars, then you hear these at $119 and you have to say how much are those more expensive headphones worth in comparison to these?

I have the same feeling about my Fidelio L2. I got them on sale for $100. To get something that is at least as well made, and better sounding, I shudder to think what I'd have to spend.

I was using the amazon app and I found this. When I click the product it returns to the original price. Maybe some sneak peek for 15 and 16 July?

Ordered the HD600 from the same deal and just received them today; however, they shipped the HD650. Looks brand new with no signs of wear. Too bad I already own the HD650 and will likely be shipping these back.

That stinks. It's a shame you already own the 650's because they are more expensive. They probably just ran out of the 600's and substituted.

While it is less work to send it back. It might be worth trying to pass on the savings to a headfi member who is looking for an hd650
