Some of these deals are terrible. Why buy a demo unit when you can get it brand new elsewhere for the same price or cheaper. Seems only the mega expensive items are discounted a good amount.

Occasionally there are some good deals. Agree that 10% off an demo isn't much of a deal, and that's the majority of what's on there. $2k off a $7k Marantz SACD player is a bit silly ($2.5k for the player, 4.5k for the nameplate). But the Hugo 2 is a good deal. Also the Taurus and the Oppo PM-1. Certainly the biggest discounts are on very high-end (expensive) gear.

Also, looks like MassDrop lowered the price for the Focal Elex from $799 to $699. The drop only sold 202 headphones through this morning and the price drop is most likely due to the lackluster sales. This brings it more in line with what Elears are going for now but with the added cables and case. The down side, of course, is the lengthy delay in shipping.

Looks like they also bumped up the expected shipping date from April 30th to February 19th.

PM1 price is good. The PM3 price is insultingly bad. $39 off for a used pair of $400 headphones? Really?

I emailed them asking if they would match Oppo's very own $320 price for refurbs/open box. They emailed back to say it's a hot ticket item and they would be surprised if it lasted the weekend.

Idk who's buying used PM3's for only a $39 discount, but they are being played. Might as well get a brand new one.
