Hardly a good deal though, I've seen the 240 gold dropped to around 1300 before in Amazon from Prostudio sound & music.

It is confusing because KORG describes this as a 1-bit DAC...and of course if you use the included Audiogate Softeware you can have it convert everything to 1 Bit DSD to feed the DAC.
 
Originally selling for $600, this might be a sleeper multi-bit DAC of very nice quality with a headphone amp built in.   Anyone have experience with it?
