This has a rather sophisticated CS4398 mult-ibit chipset inside (they use 2 of them in the above mentioned A&K K240).

It is confusing because KORG describes this as a 1-bit DAC...and of course if you use the included Audiogate Softeware you can have it convert everything to 1 Bit DSD to feed the DAC.
Originally selling for $600, this might be a sleeper multi-bit DAC of very nice quality with a headphone amp built in. Anyone have experience with it?
