If anyone is interested in the 400i, I would buy the iCan SE. PM me if interested

Whoops, please ignore. I thought it was the Special Edition iCan

I'm pretty sure it is the SE, it says it on the product page, and when you go to check out, it says Special Edition.

It also says SE on the slickdeals page:  http://slickdeals.net/f/8875527-hifiman-headphone-sales-he560-ifi-micro-idsd-amp-dac-900-or-he400i-ifi-micro-ican-se-amp-500-free-shipping

Awesome! If anyone is interested in a HiFiMan He400i for $375 shipped, please let me know.

That's a terrible deal.
It went on sale for $299 a while back and used prices go for around that.
It would be fair if you offered $200 for the iCan SE, seeing how that would lower the price of the HE-400i to $300 and the iCan SE's MSRP is $300.

It's a little high, but not as high as u think... The deal is 44% off savings. Which would bring the base price to 330. (44 % off 500.00), plus pay pal and then shipping. 350-360 depending on where it's shipping.

Ahh, OK. I have to admit, I haven't been following HiFiMan prices. I just looked a little on-line a saw the 400i going for ~$475. I guess that explains the deal. The bundle savings may come from the profit margin on the headphones, not the amp.

I cannot currently find the HE-400i for less than $475 (new), but we all know how often deals change. That said, if anyone wants a new one now, and cannot wait for a deal, at least $375 shipped is less than $475, which is what they are selling for now. If you can wait until the next sale, you can probably get the 400i for less. All depends on timing.

They don't suck, they're well worth $40.

Been reading Amazon reviews that state the cable is prone to fail at the ear cup connections. Hopefully, these cases are exceptions rather than the rule.

Crack Sale:

"From now through July 4th you can show your independence by ordering a made-in-America headphone amp kit that you build yourself. We will be transitioning to a universal power transformer in the upcoming Crack 1.1, and we still have a quantity of 120VAC only Crack kits to offer before that happens. We are offering a very deep discount on these kits. The Crack alone is normally $299, but we are offering these last few 120V kits at a special $249 price. And to further sweeten the deal you can add a Speedball upgrade kit (regularly $115) to your order for just $50. If you do the math that works out to ordering a Crack and getting the $115 Speedball kit add-on for free!"

I think they were originally supposed to be shipped in May. I just haven't heard of any one (or maybe one person?) receiving any of the new universals. I just read on the Noble thread that they've been supplying dealers...

  Onkyo ES-HF300
$50 new from onkyo
$42 used like new

JBal4 - Thanks so much for listing these phones!

(As RERO mentioned, they also have the ES-FC300 in several colors for $40.)
I just bought the ES-HF300, mainly because the headphone connectors apparently are MMCX (the ES-FC300 also have MMCX connectors - thanks Ggroch!).
I'm planning on using these phones with a balanced MMCX iem PONO cable (Trinity Audio has a good price on these).
This will give me a pair of balanced portable 'phones - so excited!!

The same seller, Onkyo Corp. on Amazon, is also selling their IE-FC300 iems for $30 in various colors, for eg.

(see Onkyo USA Corp. seller profile in Amazon for list of all the colors/options available.)

and also their iems with the fancy cable for $50 (IE-HF300S).
