Was about to buy it but I'm a little concerned about the seller and I am assuming it would not come with a warranty which, for a headphone that costs that much, I want a warranty.

Also not sure how the return would work if I didn't like them.

This one's for bassheads.

Pioneer created a pair of IEM's that incorporate a "bass exciter unit" as part of the driver assembly, which is contained in an impressively substantial enclosure.
The SE-CX8 uses a single dynamic driver, whereas the pricier SE-CX9 uses a balanced armature unit.

Amazon apparently is moving to liquidate its stock of these items. The less expensive CX8 is selling for $79 (copper or silver), or $129 for black.

The balanced armature unit (which I already own) originally sold for around $300. Now it's being sold off for $129:

I can't speak about the CX8 (though I am going to buy one now), but the CX9 has amazing, visceral, vibrating bass. It's kind of like the Skullcandy Crusher, which people tend to either love or hate. The sound signature is NOT balanced; the mids and higher frequencies are definitely recessed relative to the BASS. These would make a lousy "main" earphone. But for tracks with a lot of bass, they are a lot of fun. And though the driver units are big and heavy, the IEM is really not uncomfortable to wear. Just don't expect to go jogging with these things hanging in your years.

That's a scam. You can tell because the scammer is trying to have you contact them outside Amazon's messaging system. The original seller likely got hacked (hence the good feedback) and the hackers/scammers will proceed to try to get you to send them money via wire transfer.

I am a newbee when it comes to buying used headphones. Is $25-35 off new really a bargain, can't be.  What is the real trigger buy it now price, I would expect at least  30% off or more.  With some vendors selling for $300  that would be about $200.  Is that right ?  What is real list?

I fed agree with this as I'd personally rather own brand new if I'm saving less then 30%. I see headphones on the used forum all the time for like $25-50 less then brand new and it makes no sense. I'll take the new in box with warranty instead. Now when they are selling hd650's at 208 used from Amazon. That's a deal.

I'd rather take the brand new HD 650 that goes on sale for $240 now and again :)

Same but I've never seen that I've seen the 600's at that price by the 650's are at 290 usually.
