Their own website differentiates between the current and the 2012 models. I'm not sure what the differences are but they have 2 individual listings. Maybe they did something to improve the build quality in 2013? Just a guess.
 
Don't forget to check out Velodyne's skin collection for their headphones. A steal at only $40 each.

I saw those already but figured since I got them free, whatever. Now if they sound amazing, I'll go ahead and grab a hard case to put them in to protect them.

Signed up twice because I was unsure if my first email actually went through as there was no confirmation really. Sent the second pair, assuming they come, to my brother, which will be a nice surprise for him as i'm not telling him about it, but he'll know once they arrive. Don't own a pair of over/on ears, for several reasons, but for free I couldn't pass up the possibility of it actually happening. May be useful for when I get tired of IEMs for tv viewing and my speakers would bother my roommates.
