  I really don't get Currawong. He makes a whole bunch of rules that really aren't all that necessary and then is too lazy to enforce them, so he just closes the most viewed and useful thread on head-fi. Real champion of the community that mod is. I'm afraid he'll go on some power-trip and ban anyone who speaks out against him, so I made a separate account to post this. 

 
No, the rules make sense, but difficult to enforce. It's that given the nature of deals, people HAVE to talk about them. You know, what's the point of finding the holy grail of deals if you can't brag to everyone else how much money you saved?

Nope, just some guy who said he had a "Friend" who worked in the industry and said that the sale was possible. On amazon i believe.

Straight off the bat I saw decent deals on the M-Audio BX8, Focal CMS 65, and Alesis M1 520. And I'm barely trying to look for deals, surely you'd be able to find more if you were really interested in finding a pair of active monitors....
