I wonder if the speeds really matter when it comes to flac music files? I just recently picked up the iBasso DX240, thinking of improving the storage space on the player. I know that for a camera, speed really helps with the performance.

I use a 1tb extreme and a 400gb ultra, both work fine, I believe the extreme can be scanned faster but after that both should work the same, I don't notice any delay or lacking in speed on the 400, for $109 I will go for the ultra.

I have 2 of the ultra's, for DAP use it's great, for video I would get the extreme.

My experience is that you'll probably want a card that is U3/V30 just for the sake of write speed. The standard U1/V10 cards I have are way slower for write times and they're only 128GB - I shudder to think how long it'd take to transfer 1TB at that speed
