Help me understand quickly, why do I want these? I'm sure I do, but I am not sure why.

Was $16x couple months ago also in Rakuten.



Horrible headphones! I will choose any Sennheiser 6xx, 58x over these and I don't like any 600 (I owned 2! 650, 660)

Nothing excited about the sound, too much bass and the cable sucks.

Yeah they really have nothing to do with the Sennheiser HD6xx neutralish headphones even though they have that name.

OTOH for actually portable closed-back over-ears (i.e. fold up, easy to drive, seemingly durable, goofy audiophile bling factor) - after a few demos IMO they seem pretty good performance for this price (bass dial is neat too)- however IDK what the good competition is (MSR7?, which at least are not discontinued so can get earpads, replace cable without having to do mods etc...).

Probably not worth it if you didn't already know about them? If caught in a consumerism FOMO panic mode - Koss might scratch that itch just as well.
