I wouldn't be surprised if a brand new X2HR gets as low as $99 for the Christmas holiday sales.
Just a heads up to those who are NOT Amazon Prime members at the moment. If you want to get in on some Prime Day deals, Amazon is encouraging people to take advantage of the free 30-day trial, even if you cancel it immediately after signing up, you're still able to take advantage of the full 30-day trial period as well as Prime exclusive pricing deals. For example, Lightning Deals during Prime Day are exclusive to Prime Members only over the next two days.
As of now there is one noteworthy Head-Fi item that'll be on a lightning deal @ 10:15am (Pacific time) tomorrow. The Monolith Liquid Spark by Alex Cavalli headphone amp. So if you're at all interested in acquiring this amp tomorrow morning, sign up for a free 30-day trial and then cancel it immediately afterwards. You'll still be able to snag this deal when it goes live. Bookmark the link below if you're interested. To repeat what I already said, Lightning Deals are exclusive only to Prime Members for the next two days.
Lightning Deal @ 10:15am (PDT) tomorrow morning -- Monolith Liquid Spark Amp -- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JW7NSXT/
On Prime Day, all Lightning Deals are exclusive to Prime Members.
Lightning Deal promotional discounts aren't transferrable to other Amazon.com accounts.
For some very popular Lightning Deals, you may see a "Checking deal status" message after you select "Add to Cart". For all Lightning Deals, we'll verify eligibility on a first-come first-served basis before applying the promotional discount to an account. Please don't reload or refresh the page in your browser while this status appears.
After all the promotional discounts have been claimed, the Lightning Deal is marked "All Discounts Claimed" or "Sold Out." You'll usually have the option to go to the item's product page and purchase it at the current Amazon.com price, but the purchase will no longer be eligible for the Lightning Deal promotional discount.
If you cancel your order for a Lightning Deal, you won’t be able to place an order for that same Lightning Deal again, even if it is still running.
How much is it gonna be tomorrow? (clicking on your link, I only see current / normal price)
Looks like Massdrop (I'm not ****ing calling it Drop) is piggy-backing on Prime Day with some deals of its own:
As it states, these will change and hopefully expand. Definitely worth keeping an eye on, since AFAIK there hasn't been much in the way of Massdrop sales in the past. Everything posted so far is Massdrop x stuff, so here's hoping for an Elex sale!
For the lulz: https://www.amazon.com/Zumreed-ZUM-80216-Square-Headphones-White/dp/B003E37SVO/
The sale price shows up once the lightning deal goes live. Non Prime members will also be able to see the price once it's live, they just won't be able to buy it at that price.
Yeah, I'm still typing "Massdrop" in my address bar, then letting it redirect to that new site. That's how it is in my history and that's how it's staying.
OK - thought you got some promotion info that lists the special price... will wait and see then
Focal Clear new for $1194 down from $1499 through Audio Adviser on Amazon:
If I knew the price ahead of time, I certainly wouldn't be shy about sharing it.
TTVJ Audio is having a 12% off Used/Demo items through July 16th. The discount is automatically applied once added to your cart.
Some decent headphone deals via Amazon Warehouse exclusively for Prime members with an additional 20% off automatically applied once added to your cart.
That reminds me, I went on Drop yesterday and saw a banner that offers $20 off selected items until July 20 (I think). It said "Welcome to Drop promotion". The discount seems to be only on "Drop Made" items, but I see it didn't work for the Massdrop X Noble Lux you linked to. I put several things, from the 6xx down to the Drop Porta Pros, in the shopping cart, and they all showed a $20 discount.
Sort of Headphone: Price drop on the Bose Soundwear Companion Neck Speaker from $300 down to $150 through July 29. The offer is good through quite a few dealers, Amazon, Walmart, and many others. If you are interested, it may be worth tracking if any promo deals over the next few days stack to drop it further.
My sister has one of these she bought for $250 a few months ago. So this is quite a nice discount. Not to mention a decent sounding piece of kit to boot.
That banner must be targeted to certain accounts because I'm not seeing it myself. That'd be a nice discount along with a $10 referral for a total of $30 off any Massdrop made product.
