I would be very interested in this but
the compatibility description doesn't sound like it is compatible with Verizon? It doesn't make sense because, I have a Verizon phone and it HAS a SIM card. However the description says Verizon does NOT have SIM cards?

Ditto to what @bflat suggested. Since you already have an active GSM sim chip in your current phone, you should be able to swap it into the new V30 and it should just work.

Also note for peace of mind, you could buy this phone and if for whatever reason it does not work for you, the seller does offer 30 day free returns.

Darn! I just talked with someone in a local Verizon store and he said with it being a GSM phone it wouldn't work.

Since the phone has a free 30 day return policy, it still might be worth buying and trying the sim card swap. But there is also another option in case a simple sim card swap doesn't work. See the following link:

https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76510671&postcount=168

Furthermore, here is another thread (link below) where a Verizon employee (Link420able) owns this particular phone that you're interested in and converted it to make it work on the Verizon network by using the above link (Frankenstein method) I just posted. Just read the interactions between Link420able and ChazzMatt. Basically once you convert the H931 model to US998, it essentially guarantees that you'll have every band available to you for Verizon compatibility.

https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-v30/help/converted-h931-to-us998-modem-t3795552

Bottom line, it's possible to get this phone to work on Verizon, if a simple sim card swap doesn't work. It'll just take a little elbow grease to get it there.

FYI on this, an Amazon user states that this is only compatible with iPhone 6 and below. Supposedly iPhone 7 and up isn’t compatible.
That might be for the regular M2. IPhone 7 was the first generation to abandon the 3.5mm headphone jack.

Or just switch to (if you don't have a Verizon contract) to TING network (ting.com) and you're done with all that $$$ extortion the "traditional" phone carriers are so very good at.

Cheers.

Never heard of Ting. I'll have to look it up...

Not sure. The person said it gives an error and doesn’t work on iPhone 7 and up.

Here’s what he said:

“Update... Contacted Philips support, they say these headphones are only supported up to iPhone 6. If you have iPhone 7,8, X , or any of the new Xs, or Xr these will not work. Apparently these headphones are very old leftover stock from years ago.”

They are built nice, with aluminum and genuine leather. So for anyone that can actually use them or wants to mod them they would be a steal at $24.
