I've got the HD650 and HE400i (using it with my HD700) balanced cables from them and they're both very solid. If you contact them before buying they'll be able to do custom length on the cables (for a additional cost, haven't done it myself so don't know how much).

Very good value for money cables for sure and I prefer the HE400i one over my $150 balanced cable from Hifiman that I bought together with the cans.

Hey peter, quick question as not. Sure if you check pm's or not. For electronic music and without overly critiquing them, what headphone just works better for electronic music for you the hd650 or 400i. Been saving for a hugo2 and I know the 650 will scale up nicely so probably going to get it when massdrop or if they do another hd6xx drop. Thanks

Got in the Sony MDR1As from Buydig. Very nice. Only "damage" I could find on the box was a 1/4" slight indention on the edge of the box. Shrink wrapping and everything else was completely intact. Too early for a sound evaluation but the comfort and build quality seem top notch.

Looking at the camel, 800 is a good price. There are a number of times it fell way lower, but those were likely frauds.
