Didn't believe the free Velodynes were for real, but did it anyway, seems it is. See how they are-a free pair of crappy headphones are still crappy headphones, but I suppose I'd find some use for them, maybe a gift...

I, too, successfully completed the Velodyne survey. Went with silver vFrees. I need some comfy, closed cans for (non-critical) guitar playing. May keep them, may not.

Went with the vFree in White. I don't actually have a bluetooth pair of phones. I would have gone for the in-ears if they weren't in pink.
 
I actually signed up using two emails because I thought my first one didn't go through. So I can technically fill out two surveys and get two pairs...but I probably shouldn't.

I really wish there had been a different color for the in ears, but for the value I probably would have gotten the on ears anyways. I went for the silver vFrees, my hd428 isn't great for throwing in my backpack at school (snapped both cups sideways already, not sure if they can survive it again), but not too amazed by my Apple EarPods, so these should do well replacing them.

Be careful throwing around these, though.  Amazon reviewers repeatedly mention cheap build quality. I wonder what kind of warranty protection we will get on free headphones, too.
