Yes that one. But he did not eat it, he just pulled the SR-80's, Hanson amp and 3904 off my desk. The amp and phones are fine but the 3904 will only play the first 19s of track 1. The lens assembly won't move radially out from the center. Any words of wisdom before I dismantle??

That happened to me before (not the same brand cdp, but still...) and I just opened it up, lubed it and manhandled it some and it magically started working. I only recommend that route to brave individuals.

Worked like a charm. The lens assembly seemed to have got stuck at the end of its travel. A little brute force got it back into the middle where the servo could control it.
