Thanks to Sony engineers for developing the 4.4 connector. If it wasn't for them, then we might still have used only one balanced 2.5 in players.
Or 3.5 balanced

Wait, so according to what I saw, it can receive a Bluetooth signal from say an iPad and then transmit it to any wireless headphones? It’s a Bluetooth receiver and transmitter??
It is, but I don't think you can receive and transmit at the same time. I've never heard of any device that can do that. Also, why would you want to? If you're already streaming Bluetooth from the iPad, for example, just stream it directly to the Bluetooth headphones.

This combo really is a gem. I’ve got the closed back planar magnetics I want. Even after listening to all the $2K plus stuff, this is probably worth 3 times its price.

Does anyone know the name of the micro USB connector? Yea it’s a micro A, but with that extra metal part, it allows the Walkman to charge. If someone could please let me know

I believe it's proprietary to Sony. I wish they made one with a USB-C on the other end so you can connect and charge a USB-C device to the Walkman port of the TAZ.
