I've known this for some time now but never thought about posting it 'till now.

If you're into Chopin (which I am), and into Rubinstein (now I am) than this looks like a real good deal. The US set goes for double the price, if you can find one. These are the same set and they have all the legendary performances by Rubinstein including 60's recorded nocturnes. Just the nocturne set goes for about the same price. I have listened to them and prefer these over Pollini's.

If you're into Chopin, don't miss this set.

This is great a set. I haven't heard his Preludes and Etudes, but his Nocturnes, Ballades, Mazurkas, Waltzes, Polonaises, Sonatas, and Concertos are first rate- he's probably the most consistent Chopin performer I know of. Supplement this set with a dash of Richter, Arrau, Ashkenazy, and Cortot and you'll have hell of a Chopin collection.
