Perhaps the AKG K81DJs would be something you could look into for on the go use, they are sealed, sound pretty damn good, and are priced very reasonably.

If you want a Grado-like presentation in a more portable/affordable phone, look into the KOSS KSC-75s.

Already used my SR-60 on the go (even in NY subway). Ofcourse i wasn't listen my music only, but i liked because i was able to pay attention to both my music and the environment. But i wouldn't recommend using them on the streets, once they're to supposed be easier to recognize as a audiophile headphone than any ear canal audiophile phones ...

I have the SR 60 and have used them with my creative zen nano outside without any problems but of course I was sitting outside in a quiet enviroment. I guess it depends on where you are at and what you are doing outside.

regardless, grados aren't very good outdoorsy headphones
