THE best female vocals? (your favorite female singers)

FYI, I think Taylor and Beyonce probably use many of the same producers. And both can perform live. Imo, you're drawing a distinction without a difference.

Interesting choice of words. I can think of many things much more foul and repugnant than women displaying their sexuality in music videos.

Using sexuality or sensuality in a video, is not the same as using it only because you have no song and no actual talent.

So, my point, clearly stated, is that most female artists, most current black and latino female (pop music, MTV) artist, have no talent, cannot sing, do not write their music, and have to sell their music, using sex.

This is not a criminal activity, its just an unfortunate one,
Most viewers are like you, they enjoy the dirty soft porn videos that play day and night on all the music channels.
Of the current crop of. younger and younger music strippers that are making videos these days, Ariana Grande is a real talent with a really great voice.

And also, what i said is that, people like Beyonce, and Alicia Keys, do not write their own music, but instead a stable of song writers employed ither by them, or by their record company, writes their music.
Lyrics and music.
After its all finished, but before the final mix, they bring in these girls who then learn the songs they didn't write, and then record the vocals, and that is all they do.

Taylor Swift, is different, she writes many of her own songs.
An artist like Keith Urban, is the same.......What he does is contact Nashville song writers, who come to him, and they together work on lyrics and music.
Many artist do this, and that is legit, and completely different then just showing up after the lyrics and music is completed, and then just learn the songs, and add your vocals.
Then off they go to make 3-4 bump and grind soft porn videos, as otherwise you'd be listening to only their terrible music.....and not for long.
But these artists and their record companies have learned that if you disguise horrible music, with dirty soft porn videos, then the listener will accept it, because they're just watching.

Thank you for clarifying your point, FullBright1.

Probably needless to say, but I disagree with much of the above. Especially the part about black and Latino artists having no talent as compared to white artists like Taylor Swift and Keith Urban. I'm sure you're not alone in that viewpoint though.

There are a number of male and female country artists that I like btw. Some older school types from the 70's and 80's. And also some new. I don't listen to much country music anymore though, just like I don't listen to much jazz, classical, old-school hip-hop, R&B, or rock & roll music anymore. Because there's just too much new stuff out there to explore.

If you're a fan of country music though, then why not start a new discussion on that subject?

ADUHF.,

Im a fan
of nearly all genres` of music, with the exception of Rap and some types of Metal.
This is why i post music on so many Threads on this Music Forum.
And, i pointed to a Latino who has an amazing voice, and unique talent : Ariana Grande.
So, i never said that all Latinos had no talent.....:)
I said "most".
And my context, is strictly the Latino girls and Black girls, who post "lite" pornography, disguised as music, on whatever cable channel they can rot.
I can turn on MTV right now, or any time of day, when they are not showing a commercial, or some series, or rock show, and i'll find lther Latino or Black girls, doing
what any stripper would be glad to call their own.
And if that is not on, then the Hip-Hop Rap Artist, Black, will have a screen full of "dancing "HO's", all around.
Turn on your TV, or your device...go to MTV.
Im not joking.
Its 24/7.
Its the reality of the music business.
It's rot.
And it'll get worse.

I "unplugged" long ago. And suggest you do the same.

YT is your friend. And if you don't like YT. There are plenty of other streaming svcs to try. I can't afford most of em, so I'm trying out the free (w/ads) svcs, like The Roku Channel, Sony Crackle, Vudu, and Tubi TV. And so far, I'm kind of likin it. (YT also has some free content on its movie channel, though not as much as the other svcs above.)

One downside to streaming is that your viewing habits can be pretty easily tracked, and potentially used for nefarious purposes by the svcs. That's a tradeoff I'm willing to accept though, at least for now.

Just to keep this on topic, here's some new Mamamoo. This is probably my favorite female Korean group right now. These tracks are on the brighter side.

Category: K-pop group
Nominee: Mamamoo

This damn song never ends. :)
