Coming up on four years since I bought my first pair of real headphones and found this thread.

Still almost exclusively listen to female vocals, thousand songs in my music folder. Way too much money spent in this thread.. But my preferences have changed a fair amount.

A lot of my new favorites have been found through (or because of) this thread. Thought that I would make a little list with my (new) favorite musicians.

Emma Ruth Rundle. Found her through this thread. Favorite musician, saw that she was touring near where my family is from, traveled from a different country to see her live (told family I was went to visit them..)

Elsa y Elmar. Moved to Bogota, Colombia to study a few years ago. I was going to a giant, outdoor heavy metal to see a band that I sort of liked. Saw a list of the other bands playing and saw a single stage with female singers. Noped away from the metal concert and enjoyed one of my favorite evenings (despite being rained on) in Colombia.

GEMS. Can honestly say that I wouldn't have of been a fan when I first came here. Absolutely love them, now.

Vallis Alps. Found through here, same as above.

    Laurel. Amazing.

Would be interested to see some top 5 favorite lists from other long time thread posters.
