Ask a number of people who like the Beatles (most people in other words) what their favourite Beatles album is. If they say Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band, then ask them their 3 favourite beatles songs.

2nd test:

Ask the same people (or similar people) their favourite member of the Beatles (or the one they think is more talented). If they say John Lennon, ask them for some of their favourite Beatles songs.


You'll be interested to see (or at least from those that I have asked) many people who list Sgt. Peppers as their favourite album will have none of the tracks from the album in their top 3 beatles songs, and many people who will list John Lennon as their favourite Beatle will likey list songs written by (and sung by) other members of the beatles (mostly Paul, however perhaps one by George, likely Here Comes the Sun).

Note: For anyone extremely into music and the Beatles, this will probably not be the case, but for the generic Beatles fan, you may be interested with the results.
