I think in addition to the ES5, a few others you should be looking at the Grado SR-60, AKG K81DJ, Sennheiser PX100 and PX200. Oh, don't forget the KSC75, and I'm sure there are others that I cannot think of at this time.
according to your link (and opinion) the es5 for mos SQ and the PX200 for comfort?
can you recommend something between the SQ and the comfort at es5\PX200 size?
how is the ATH clip-on around 100$ ?

I can't think of anything off the top of my head between the two in terms of SQ and comfort. I'm not the biggest fan of audio-technica clip-ons, because in my opinion, the aren't good for portable use. They don't isolate very well, and you have to sit still in order to get the best sound quality for them.
I like the audio-technica ATH-ES7 a lot. It's a big improvement over the ES7 and PX200, but it is a lot bigger and more expensive.
i really enjoyed the es5 when i had them. some find them uncomfortable due to the weird swivel design that relies on clamping force for them to stay on your ears but i never thought that they were uncomfortable. i'm not sure if they're the best option for $100 though. it has been mentioned but at that price you have other better options such as ms1or es7 (a little over $100 on amazon.com), which will offer better performance.
