Assembling my second set of earphones - an 11mm driver, in a Rosewood shell. It turns out that my craft vise opens just wide enough to clamp the shells together, until the glue sets.

These were a waste of time & money, since one of the drivers is really quiet.
Both drivers measure the same 15.6Ω - 15.8Ω.
One has a "normal" volume of Bass/Midrange/Treble, and sounds pretty good.
The other has quiet Midrange & Treble, and nearly no Bass at all.

Well, with these wooden shells - when trying to disassemble them, the glue is stronger than the wood, so they break.
It would allow me to access the driver, but it's the driver that's bad in this case.

This pair of drivers and shells were $47.50 - and at that cost, I'm not going to do any more experimenting.
