I almost got the M7 back in the summer but held off. Hadn't really looked into DAPs until the N3 Pro popped up. Was thinking of getting a portable tube amp but so much nicer to have it built into the player.

@groucho69 please let us know what you think of the M7. I had really fallen for the FiiO house signature. Curous to see if that has changed...

So far a couple hours with TT SoundLiberty 95 (30% off lightling deal). aptX connection. Good combo. Seems flat and non fatigueing. Highs are crisp without being shrill. Bass is present but not fat or flabby. Will have to try it our wired at some point but I am enjoying this combo so much it may be a while before I get around to it.

@OldDude04 Amazon only has silver at $142 now. Still a good deal. So looks like there is an M7 II coming?

I hope I am on time still for last Wednesdays WOW - Young

I don't think many have posted Jackie Leven songs in this thread. Tom and I both were big fans. We went to see him at the Half Moon in Putney back when I was with Tom in Brixton in 2005/2006. It was amazing to see him in such an intimate venue.... although neither of us was happy that many were smoking all around us. Sadly he has been gone a few years now.... and now Tom is gone too.

Jackie Leven - Young Male Suicide Blessed by Invisible Woman - from the excellent album Forbidden Songs of the Dying West

When my son Neil practiced his drums in the basement rec room I didn't mind at all.... as long as I was not trying to watch tv in the room above.

Tom told me a story about his first ... and only ... drum. When he was around 4 years old a relative gave him a drum for Christmas. He was so happy that he marched around the house for the rest of the day banging on it. When he got up the next morning he could not find it.... no one could find it... so sad....

Maybe the best Nick Cave song ever. Unforgettable... even after all these years.

For a completely different mood.....

My pick for the WOW is Red Chevrolet by Jimmie Dale Gilmore. The first time I saw hiim was at the old Ann Arbor Ark... the one that only seated 115 people. It was located above a market and had a wooden floor. So that would have been early 90's.

From his 1989 album Fair and Square
