Nice to see you. It's been a long time. Hope you're alright. Things are weird. COVID has changed so much, not sure what normal is anymore...at least my tunes are good.

Nice to see you too! Everything is good here, Covid did make things weird, but the new normal is settling in slowly here... Thankfully, Canada was not hit as much, but I do live in the most affected city. Made it hard with potential health issues. As long as we have good tunes though, life goes on!

Ever since the last Winblows 10 update I have been unable to reinstall my SMSL Sanskrit 10th. It get almost to the end of installing the s/w and driver then it crashes my PC. I weep in tortured agony.

Did you uninstall the drivers before reinstalling? Also try installing the drivers as admin. Most likely what happened is the registry was changed in the update and you don't have write permissions to that part of the registry.

This PC did not have the USB driver. My old PC died a couple of weeks ago and I had to build a new one. Also lost a ton of music.

BTW Winblows is constantly screwing with my drivers on updates.

Um apparently using a USB 3 makes it go wonky. USB 2 or 1 only.
