Oh an amp tease. Well here are some pics of the raw TU-8500 board...
Yeah, it's a lot better than I thought it was going to be. Really enjoying it.
I'm using adapters.
The tube amp, TU-8200DX, was a lot of fun to build. The preamp is going to be a lot of fun too.
Does anyone remember when Integrated Amplifiers were the budget solution, instead of buying all separates?
Well, McIntosh has knocked that on the head...
The MA9000 is 101-lbs., and $10,000.
That's a lot of money. The things I could do with $10k......
Those boards are all naked!
Not for long. I think I'm going to work on populating the board today....
Wonder how it stacks up against similarly priced high end gear.
its heavy and can double as car battery recharger
If we are talking about TOTL super heavy headphone amps I would get the Apex Pinnacle2 with that kind of money. It's not an integrated but is the best headphone amp and preamp I've heard to date. I had this on TTVJ's loaner program and was blown away.
Looks nice and I love globe tubes
Just got this message from Nicehck...
This is our new 7 driver units earphone, NICEHCK NX7, 4BA+2DD(Dual Carbon Nanotube Dynamic Driver)+Piezoelectric Ceramics Driver, hybrid 7 Units.
/:011Now, NX7 is $65 no mic version(with mic $66) , for our old friends ❤
A senior head-fi audiophile friend told me: NX7 is the best sound quality within US $100 ^_^ /:006
I think you 100% will fall in love with NX7.
Sound signature of NX7:
Overall balanced sound.
High resolution, Clear sound profile, Bright and transparent timbre.
Soft intermediate frequency sound with clear vocal. Nice low frequency sound of great sense and with quick transient reaction.
Extraordinary high frequency extension makes the extremely high frequency fabulous and adds more sound details.
This is the link of NX7, buy it from here, i will change the price for you, thanks /:014
4 BA, 2DD and piezo driver... Overkill?
And looks to be all stuffed into a ZS10 Pro shell (Different faceplate)! If it does sound good you can't beat the driver count for $65
LOL, while typing this their message came into my email
I'm a big fan of the bass that Carbon Nanotubes can produce. I'd buy them in a heartbeat for $65. If I get my Tansio Murai TSMR-3's in tomorrow and don't like them, the NX7 will be next.
