    Hi,
Did u compared that dap with the sp1000 non M?
If yes, is the sound different?
I had just a short time with it, im still confused. I guess i should arrange more listening time with new AK gear.

Are there others who share my likings of the warm yet open wolfson signature and found a upgrade?

    Thx,
    Rich

I listened to the original version when it came out but I never directly compared it the M.
I listened to the original M when it was introduced but never directly compared it to the M or the AK120. I think the AK120 ist just too audiophile warmish and the SP1000s have just more access to musical relevant nuances.

I'm glad I've kept my AK120, and I wish I bought the AK120 Titan instead of AK120. There are many other new daps from AK range, but for me AK120 warmth and musicality is something that other AK dap couldnt quiet match.

It's the Wolfson DAC. I have the modded RWAK120S with the 8741 and it's even better.

I just got AK120 Titan used and am presently surprised of its sound quality. I love the form factor and control..reminding of horrible
user interface experience I had with R2R2K. The dap was in good condition except had some volume wheel control issue.
I contacted A&K and the replacement cost for replacing battery and wheel control repair were $100. I hope I get it the device in 4 weeks.

Could I ask how long the battery lasted when it was new? Let's say with playing with flac. AK said 14 hours but just wondering..
