A fiio e10 to mjolnir is a pretty big step so that would probably be the bigger change. Too bad you can't test it since no SE output on that amp

Any chance that they will fix this rattle issue when the next batch is released?

Any other quality issues of the K7XX being made from China vs the 65th Anni's made from Austria?

I'm loving the K712 sound, but I might end up getting the massdrop edition just to save a few bucks, considering that they're the exact same thing except where they're made and the color.

Tracking says it cleared customs on Dec 30, so assuming that was Toronto it can usually take a week to get to Western Canada. I'll give it this week and if nothing Thursday I will do some investigating. How are you enjoying them?

IF there is actually an issue. I'm not convinced.

It is common in any manufacturing that there will be a small percentage that might have missed QC inspection. Since QC are made up of human beings. I am quite sure this is not a design flaw since it is based on an existing model and tweaking it.

Is anyone experiencing the flapping noise (not rattle) due to cone breakup at higher volume with frequencies below 50Hz?

I've only seen it mention by a few people. One was able to produce it with a O2 on 2.5x gain at 3 o'clock while another got it to breakup with a uDAC-2 at 1-2 o'clock. The uDAC-2 is only putting out 20-25mW at those volumes. Is it acceptable for a HP to distort due to cone breakup at such a low power input? Why do people keep saying the HP needs a powerful amp if it can't seem to handle more than 20mW?
