Subbed. Try some Joe Pass (Virtuoso series is hard to top). Bluegrass generally but I think it's been mentioned.
Also listen to Herbie Hancock's Maiden Voyage. Some difficult parts but I think Freddie Hubbard out-miled Miles on this one. A true giant of trumpet playing on this album.
Monty Alexander has a lot of great albums although there is some electric guitar on some of them. For a live trio album listen to Love and Sunshine. Some of the most incredible piano you will ever hear.
