I wanted to thank the forum members for your help in getting my rig set-up and running (rig 1 below). I have had it running long enough to get some burn in and I have to say that it really sounds great. The soundstage, detail and musicality are all there. In fact, with the rig as configured, I am quite happy to focus on the music instead of the gear. Of course, the hobby aspect of HeadFi will remain, but I can relegate it to tweaks in this system for the foreseeable future. Thanks again.

That's awesome!

I've had much the same experience with my setup. Although I'm still fiddling with some DIY amps, I'm extremely happy with a similar setup. Music sounds great, it's easy to access and I've had much enjoyment out of the setup so far.

And it would not have happened without reading all the advice here, either. I'm very grateful for it.
