just like to take the time to say thank-you to everyone who posted the mass of information about etymotic earphones, the pors the cons etc. i had spent a week going through the threads and reading them, and well came to the conclusion that the only way to see if the phones were as good as was to get them, which i duly did, and boy does the sound 'sound' sweet. it is amazing, looks like i can throw away my sony ex70's in the bin.

I would like to agree with evolushun - all this info on the etys is really good for newbies like me (us?) deciding whether or not to buy these 'phones. I am also a Sony EX70 user and now that there is an Ety distributor in Australia, I am seriously considering ordering a pair.
