I'm looking to choose between these 2 iems, I want to replace my current earphones. I used to have a pair of sennheiser cx 5.00gs but I lost them, they were pretty neutral which I liked, I currently use a pair of bluetooth BeatsX . Its a bit too bass heavy and I want something more detailed and neutral. I came across these 2 iems on massdrop and they seem to have a lot of good things about them. I would be using them without a dac and amp. If there are any other recommendations in this price range and my use case, please say. Thanks

Im on the same quest!
Have not heard the King II, so cannot say on that one. As far as the DMG goes, while I like it, I actually tend to prefer overall the signature of the IT01 in this general price range. Better mids and a bit less potentially fatiguing on the top end--in my opinion. Also, I have to say, both the ZS10 and the ZS10 Pro offer terrific performance for less than half the money. Been very happy with mine--FWIW.

The DMG are very bassy and best way to combat that is power them from an AMP which you won't be doing (even then their low end is thunderous) As Serman suggested the it01 is a good value IEM, but I'd go one further and say the KZ ZS10 PRO imo is even better value and for me closer to neutral than the it01 (tho neither are neutral).
You may want tor read up on something like the TFZ No. 3 which is well reviewed right now. It has emphasised bass but from what I've read it's very controlled and not boomy. It's a set I'll be purchasing soon. £85
