I can bring pretty much all the cans and amps I have:

• Koss KSC-35

And my iPod. Should I bring a laptop with a Sonica, too?

I'll also burn and bring a couple copies of my Audio Test Mix

I think you should just set a time, date, and place, and then make it happen. People will either show up or they won't, but I think its probably important to give an ample amount of time for out-of-towners to plan ahead, and an ample amount of time for everybody to open their schedules up if necessary.

Jester - what area of Houston do you live in?

I will give people until next Monday. If we get little response, I will set a date next week.

I live just outside of the Heights - central Houston.

I'll be out of town for about a week starting the 12th, so won't be able to make it during that week.

I think its probably a good idea to give a little bit longer warning after the time and date are set, though, so that out-of-town people can plan ahead.

OK, July 17th is now out for me unless it's an evening meet.

And whenever it is, I hope both ReDVision and I can make it, because I've never heard Beyers and I really want to hear 'em...

Ok, I will extend the time to respond until Friday. If you have some dates that are better than others, please post a reply!

I may be able to make it. Not sure if I'd want to make the drive from Dallas.

If I decide to come I'll bring:

Cary 303/200
KGSS (built myself, not headamp or zzz)
EDIT: and a transformer volume control, if I finish it in time (S&B tx102 mk2)
Stax 404

I also know of two or three former headfi denizens that would be interested. I'll let them know about it. One has quite an impressive setup.

Of course you know, now that I've done all this recruiting, in a great irony something will come up and *I* won't be able to go. <crosses fingers, hoping that's not true>

I can make a meet for a few hours at least, either June 26/27, or any week in July except the July 4 weekend! If on 7/17 or 18, I can come after 2-3PM

I can bring:
Senn 650s with Moon Silver Dragon cables. I'll bring the stock cables so we can compare!
Gilmore V2/SE
Maybe even my Tri-Vista 21 DAC
Dare I rip out my Bel Canto Universal player? Maybe.
Many CDs and SACDs

I have mainly Jazz and Classical. What do you like to listen to?

There is a *slim* possibility I could make it. I've been driving between Dallas & Austin on a weekly basis recently, & I'm sick of driving.

I'll have to go to Dallas every other week for the next couple months, so I really don't feel up to spending another 6 hours on the road in one day...but...just in case...my availability is: June 26 or 27, July 10 or 11, and July 24 or 25. The other weekends I'm in Dallas.

What I can bring is: EarMaxPro, HD600+Equinox, Arcam CD72 CD player, KSC 35, & Portapros.

If I show up it'll probably spur of the moment...

And don't ask me how that came about. I don't remember anymore.

Stand on me, if there's a meet in Texas, I'll probably be there. I just wish someone would bring some of the lower-end grados; the PS1 will be out of my league for quite some time.
