Overall, I'd say I'm more of a Sennheiser guy but I do like the Grado sound for certain types of music. My SR60's can be a lot of fun at times...

Lemme guess... you're testing the theory that musicians prefer the up-front character of Grados because they're used to being right up there on stage?

I'm a Grado fan and a musician and I prefer tweaked versions made by Alessandro...

I'm a Grado fan and a musician; the SR225, SR300, RS-1, MS-Pro and HP-1 are among the best cans around. I still prefer Grado's nemesis however, the lovely Sennheiser HD50/600/650.

I'm not a musician and like my HD600s better than the SR225s I used to have, but I have nothing against the Grado sound. I wouldn't mind owning another set of Grados, maybe SR225s, again someday if I can afford it. They sure were nice for guitar-driven music.

I'm a musician and couldn't get used to SR80's at all. Just not my thing. SR-325 was almost traumatizing. (

I much prefer HD600.

I'm a musician and I like Grados very much. I think that musicians don't bother too much of the upfront stage of the Grados because we are always near our instrument. But it's not only this. Grados have armonic reconstruction of each instrument timbre that it's almost unheard in other dynamic cans. That's only my opinion of course!

Ciao

I don't like Grados and am not a musician. Although I can still be an artist and producer just pushing buttons

Well any statistician will have so many objections to this poll you have, whichever theory you are trying to test.

How about complementing with other polls like "I'm a Senn's fan and...", also "I'm a Beyer fan", and "I'm an AKG fan..." etc. etc., to be able to somehow factor out the % of musiciancs here. Still many other things pending after that, but it's a begining to some meaningful data analysis, this poll alone is far from it.
