Test songs/music

You can use anything you like to judge the headphone for your taste.

I use psytrance for my bass test.
Astrix - Deep Jungle Walk
Infected Mushroom - Groove Attack
And thanks to a friend I also use the song
Bad guy by Billie Eilish

To check how they fair with high pitched sounds and deep base on the same time I use the Doom ost not sure if you can call that music tho.

To check female focals I tend to use Tell him by Barbera Streisand and celine Dion. Followd by some Nightwish songs to see how they fair with more up speed and Fuller music.

For soundstage the Doom ost gives some idea but I always play a number recorded in binaural called binaural by Cocteau. I also play a CD called A feather on the breath of God (goth church music) gives you a good idea of soundstage with and imaging. Also good test for higher female focal representation. And then take them for a spin In gaming for example battlefield 5 or a other bf game using the frostbite engine.

P.s. this version of hotel California is also really nice with the drum representation in the begining of the song.

Personaly I always check guitars with little wing by Ray Vaughan and money for nothing and sultan's of swing by the Dire straigts

For most I use flac files but I'm not allowed to share those by law, so I added links to Spotify versions

I don't use specific songs for.
Songs i'd pick for myself are

Blues Company - Invitation to the blues is also a great piece of musicality.

Keri Noble - Last Warning

Allen Taylor - Chimes on midnight
Geoffrey Oryema - Makambo
Kari Bremnes - Spor (2015)
Sara K. - Don't i know you from somewhere?
Jan Gunnar Hoff - Living

Evanescence - Hi-Lo from Synthesis
Evanescence - Lost in Paradise from Synthesis
Alex Christensen ft. The Berlin Orchestra - Listen to your heart ft. Medina ( I like her voice and passion)
Alex Christensen ft. The Berlin Orchestra - Redemption
Lindsey Stirling - Love's just a feeling (Brave enough) - Like the whole album
Charlotte Cardin - Paradise Motion, Dirty Dirty, Like it doesn't hurt - for some reason
Alex Clare - You'll be fine
Ages Obel - The Curse
London Grammar - Hell to the Lairs, Who am I
Medina - Scars
Simply Three - Maverick, Heart's Harmony

Unleash the archers - Awakening, Apex, Going down fighting
Several Nightwish songs.

Funny how we both use some Nightwish songs
If something does show the weak side and makes a headphone puke that's it
