Does anyone know where I could get a test cd with frequency sweeps, etc. for burning in new cans? Also, how much does a cd like this usually cost?

thanks!

A very good test cd is "Prodigy - The Fat Of The Land". The music might not be to your liking, however, the content will give your equipment a real workout!

Check out this review of the cd and judge for yourself.....

TNT Audio...... Prodigy - The Fat Of The Land

Their music is fine to my ears.

I already made a copy of said wav files. I think its better for us to do burn our own than rely on someone else to charge for something we could do for free?...

I agree, except that not everyone knows how to do this (or wants to learn), has the right audio software to generate the proper tones & sweeps, etc.

Anyway, I'm now offering a CD for those who don't... whoever might be interested, check out my ad in the Gear for sale forum. The advantage over the Binkster "CD" is that I'm actively soliciting suggestions for new tracks, and dialup users don't have to download half a gig of files. If nobody's interested, that's perfectly cool.
