I've been looking for a thread that talks about the Tempotec Sonata iDSD Plus, but I haven't found one. So I opened a new one dedicated to this fantastic device.

As I have been reading here and there, the Sonata iDSD Plus is the same as the Hidizs DH1000, which has had such good reviews.

Hi I have ordered one today from AliExpress. I based my decision on the review ,link above. It will take a while to get here(Scotland) from China. On a slow boat.
One question I was wondering is the USB input for iPhones able to be used for Android too. Or just exclusively for iPhones?

Hi I have noticed a few points in the specs.
The dac chips, ESS9018K2M and the amp chips ESS9601K are both in the Pioneer xdp-300r. I have the Pioneer so I wonder if the sound will be the same.
