Hello,

I can get the Technics for a good price here, but only the 1210, 1200 are no available, even the 1200A, only 1210.

¿Is there a lot of difference in the bass between 1200 and 1210?

¿How is the bass of the 1210 compared with the bass of the senn 280?

Thanks.

Hey Groovable,

I don't know the answer to your question, but a member who might is "magicthyse". I believe he owns both of them, but haven't seen him post in a while.......does anyone know what happened to him? anyways you can try e-mailing him or give him a PM.

In fact, he hadn't posted on Head-Fi since last Christmas. And he hadn't posted on the Minidisc forums since last November.

I've owned both. Between the two, it comes down to a choice of bass (1210) or clarity (280). The 1210 has a restricted soundstage and a very large bass, practically HD25-class. But the clarity is definitely not HD25-class, it's not very articulate. The 280 has good fidelity but considerably less bass than the 1210.

Speaking for my tastes, I had the HD280 far longer than I had the RP-DJ1210, which I bought then sold pretty quickly. But if you want

the HD280 is not the phone to buy.

¿and comparing 1200 with 1210? ¿anyone knows the differences?
Some people prefer the sound of the first 1200 because it has more bass, so I think 1210 is ok for me cos I want bass but no so much as mdrv700.
