The only show on G4 TV you should be watching is Filter... because Diane Mizota is hot. Their computer-related reviews are spotty enough, definitely don't waste your time reading any of the non-computer related stuff.

What...were you guys expecting them to review the hundreds of aftermarket cables for the Sennheisers?

I got one of those free Airline-Miles-For-Magazines offer in the mail, so I got a mag called "CE Lifestyles." I figured for free it'd be fine, or I can just recycle or give it away if I don;t like.
Turns out it is pretty interesting, covering all kinds of electronic gadgets, but the audience is primarily women. It aims to get females more up to speed with technology, and does it in a pretty informative way.
Anyways, the hint of relevance: they did a headphone piece some time ago, and while the choices they made were not the ultimate, Bose was not mentioned at ALL in their table of recommended phones. They categorized by type (Ear-Bud, In Ear, Open, Closed, and Wireless), and by price 9Low, Medium, High). Shure E3C, some Sony's, Sennheiser HD-595, and some lower-end Koss made the list.
Another interesting thing is that, in some generic pictures they take for their mag, in which a woman is relaxing listening to headphones, she is wearing Sennheisers, either 600's or 650's, with a Cardas cable....
So there is definitely hope outside these niche walls

When Tech-TV was actually a semi-cool station, they did a review of those 1500 dollar Ultrasone headphones with the sheep skin material on the ear cups.
They did their listening tests by plugging it into a portable CD player.
