Ludwig van Beethoven and the 3rd, 5th and 9th would be a great way to start. Somehow I love this stuff. The world also loves it. I have very little training in music but find a wonderful experience getting up in the morning to the 5th. The enjoyment may be only a phase that you go threw but you will find yourself coming back to his works over and over again though out your life. I started with a Karjan 9th 30 years ago and still find the music interesting and charming.

Regardless of whether it is pure drum & bass pendulum were the chaps that got me into d&b (admittedly not those tracks but this one below).
