TEAC AD-600, any opinions?

Would this make a good source for use with a Grado clon and maybe a PPA afterwards? What do you guys think? It retails for around 300 dollars here in Mexico.

I wouldn't get it - especially for $300 (if you're talking US dollars). There are many more better values out there for less than that price, like the Pioneer 563 universal and others...

The other "reference" Teac players look nice but still, there are better values, IMO.

You could always get the $50 Toshiba 3950 DVD player that people are raving about, it's probably a great deal.

Thanks. I guess I'll get the Toshiba. It retails for 150 down here, but it's pretty much available in a lot of places.
