Hey guys!

This thread is for discussing Tansio Mirai in ear monitors and products. The recent TSMR-3 has been slowly making waves so I thought I'll start a thread for everyone who wants to pitch in with their impressions and thoughts.

About the Company & IEM-
Tansio Mirai, as I’ve come across online, is a company run by a university student who makes these IEMs by hand. They have a nice range of options starting from a 3 BA configuration going up to a 12 BA flagship. Looking at their prices and components used, they have a very high quality to price ratio.

TSMR-3- TSMR-3 has 3 Knowles Balanced Armatures (1 Knowles ED 29689 & 2 CI low frequency drivers) with 3 crossover, 7 tuning switches, 12 frequency division components on both sides which all use high quality USA and Japan components. You can alter the bass, mids and highs with the combination of three switches.

Here are some reviews including mine- https://www.head-fi.org/showcase/tansio-mirai-tsmr-3.23486/reviews

Here are some pictures,

For people who just bought a unit and want to know what the switches do, here is the list of modes straight from the company,

Mode 1:
100: Bass enhancement mode
120: Mixed tuning

Mode 2:
020:All balanced mode
103: Mixed tuning

Mode 3:
003: Mid-treble enhancement mode
023: Mixed tuning
123: Mixed tuning (lowest impedance)

If you have any questions for me, please tag me and I'll answer them for you.
Cheers!

These are on my radar... one quick question for guys that have them. I have read that the nozzles are thicker than normal so is this a issue with tips and if that is the case what tips are people using ?

Yes I wrote about that aspect. Its a non-traditional design and a bit bigger than usual but all my 5mm tips fit it well and do not slip at all. It also comes with a couple of nice tips. So don't worry. :)

I settled for a pair of Ocharaku titanium dynamic driver earphones, but this Bad Guy Good Reviews is raving about the DM6 and this one. Would I be asking too much for a noticeable improvement from my older IEM? Tansio Mirai? DM6?
