so i got on the plane to singapore, the first of five flights i boarded in the last 48 hours, and put in my etys.

bugger. bugger bugger bugger. they chose exactly that moment to show the signs that they need the filters changed again. i've only done it once or twice in a year, so i'm not cheesed that they need it, but i am now overseas for a month, and left both the tool and filters at home.

so now either i shell out of more bits i can't particularly afford, or i miss out on all the ety goodness for the next month and (GASP) the flight home.

i don't think i'll be able to hold out.

any kind hearted soul in or near albuquerque who has a changing tool i could use want to sell me a couple of filters? ...or chicago in a couple of weeks if it takes that long...

try going to a Guitar Center if there's one in your town and trying the E1's-- they have a similar filter cleaning tool, you could always buy the E1's, use the filter cleaning tool and then return them saying that they don't sound like you thought they would--- hey, it's an idea....

Well, I am nearer Albuquerque than I am to Australia, but it probably does you no good. If you cross near here, or even through the airport, I will gladly donate a couple of filters.

GerG, thank you so much for your offer. I don't think I'll end up coming through AZ, as the flights usually go through Denver, but it's people like you that make this community so cool. I really appreciate it.
