Hi all. Im planning on getting this as beginner cans.
I use them mostly while commuitng. How are these in terms of outside hearing me? I dont want to disturb others.

Also, how do cans compare to earphones?
My current setup is a LG V10 and SE535
Thanks!

How bad of a leak are we speaking of if I were to use this during my subway ride and maybe in the office?
Thanks!

These are open back so people will hear them. For subway/bus you need a close back phones. You need something like these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826138187&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-BensBargains.com%20(Internet%20Brands)-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=404255&SID=467279_desktop

or these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004JQQDZ2?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage

I own both and they sound great!

Thank you sir for your input.
I've decided to take my first leap into using headphones and got the Hi2050 to listen to them at home. I got them for around $30 shipped.
